Job description

Our esteemed client in the Fire Protection and Building Services industry is seeking a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Project Engineer
• Location: Northeast
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Saturday, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $4,800 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage projects of fire safety systems.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle
• Handle submissions and approvals with local agencies, ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and statutory requirements
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including shop drawings, method statements, and as-built records
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems
• Ensure all project activities are completed on schedule and meet established safety and quality standards

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Engineering with minimum 2 years of prior working experience in fire protection or building services projects.
• Familiar with local fire safety regulations and authority submission processes
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Having a Class 3 Driving License would be a plus.
