Job summary
Airswift is seeking an Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate on-site electrical construction activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, layout plans, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve site issues and ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory codes.
- Track progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports for management and client updates.
- Participate in site meetings and provide technical input to resolve construction challenges.
- Support overseas site activities as required by the project schedule.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 yearsof hands-on experience in electrical construction within shipyard, marine, or offshore projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, marine standards, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Willingness to travel and work at overseas project sites.
