Job summary

A leading construction service provider in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer to manage project activities effectively. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, planning resources, and ensuring project budgets and schedules are adhered to. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least three years of relevant experience, and hold necessary safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in M&E works or relevant construction industries.
• Possess relevant safety certifications like SCWSH / BCSS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with MainCon, Owners & Consultants for onsite works.
• Plan and schedule resources and manpower to meet deadlines.
• Monitor budget and ensure proper management of manpower.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation from commencement to completion.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Project Engineers organise, administer and execute the project activities:

· Coordinating activities – involve in meeting / liaising with MainCon, Owners & Consultants to arrange on site works with Personnel. Oversees the project/s and ensure smooth transition and completion.

· Planning & Scheduling of Resources and Manpower - ensure schedules and deadlines are met and materials required are properly arranged.

· Budgeting and Control – monitor and always ensure that Budget and Manpower are managed properly

· Control Documentation and Responsiveness – Prepare and submit all necessary documentations from the commencement to completion of projects to all relevant project stakeholders.

Requirements:

· Minimum Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field

· Minimum 3 years’ working experience in M&E works or relevant construction industries

· Possess the relevant safety certifications like SCWSH / BCSS

· Has experience working in building construction

· Ability to coordinate and communicate with relevant site people to execute work Excellent time management and teamwork skills
