Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Dynamic Positioning Project Engineer to join a specialised engineering team supporting DP systems and vessel trials across Singapore and overseas.

The role involves both technical engineering work and onboard vessel operations, with travel to overseas locations and onshore work as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare Dynamic Positioning System Trial Reports.
• Prepare Dynamic Positioning Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Attend and support sea trials onboard vessels locally and overseas.
• Liaise with clients on technical matters and project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and other engineering documentation.
• Carry out day-to-day engineering, reporting and technical activities to support project delivery.
• Travel at short notice for vessel trials and project assignments.

Dynamic Positioning Project Engineer

• Basic Salary: S$3,500-$4,500/month

• Working Location: Jurong East

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

• Weekend Work: May be required when vessel trials are scheduled on weekends. Additional $180/day applies.

What You’ll Do

As a Dynamic Positioning Project Engineer, you will be involved in both technical engineering work and onboard vessel operations.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Prepare Dynamic Positioning System Trial Reports.

• Prepare Dynamic Positioning Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documentation.

• Attend and support sea trials onboard vessels locally and overseas.

• Liaise directly with clients on technical matters and project requirements.

• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and other engineering documentation.

• Carry out day-to-day engineering, reporting, and technical activities to support project delivery.

• Travel at short notice when required for vessel trials and project assignments.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Able to work onboard vessels and adapt to different project environments.

  • 60% overseas travel – including Batam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China.

  • 40% Singapore-based work.

  • Willing to travel overseas at short notice.
