Position: Project Engineer cum Solar Designer

• Location: Kallang
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
• Salary: Up to $4,800 + Performance Bonus (commensurate with experience)
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Technology Solutions

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager with coordinating, planning, and forecasting to optimize resource utilization to meet budget and project milestones.
• Conduct site studies for PV system recommendations.
• Manage the solar project site team to ensure safety standards are met.
• Monitor project site work progress to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Plan and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.
• Coordinate with procurement team to raise sales requests and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Create checklists for review or inspection of solar projects.
• Design and draft mechanical drawings of solar PV systems.
• Prepare project documents for submission to authorities and ensure smooth project completion.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other modeling software (such as SketchUp, PVsyst, Helioscope) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
