Project Engineer/ Coordinator

1. Project Planning and Coordination

• Develop project schedules, budgets, and scope statements.

• Coordinate resources and materials to ensure timely project execution.

• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.

• Prepare project documentation, including work schedules, permits and risk assessments.

2. Team Management

• Assign tasks to team members and monitor their progress.

• Lead and supervise site teams, including technicians and maintenance staff.

• Conduct site visits to oversee ongoing maintenance and servicing works.

• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.

• Address worker concerns, conflicts, and ensure smooth team operations.

3. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and internal teams.

• Schedule meetings and provide updates on project progress.

• Prepare and submit progression reports, service reports, and incident reports as needed.

• Handle client enquiries, complaints, and ensure service satisfaction.

4. Administrative Tasks

• Manage invoices, purchase orders, and inventory reports.

• Prepare documentation and reports related to project activities.

• Maintain proper documentation, including maintenance logs, safety checklists, and compliance reports.

5. Quality and Safety Assurance

• Supervise construction teams and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

• Monitor work quality and implement strategies for improvement.

• Conduct inspections and audits to identify and rectify non-compliance, or safety hazards.

• Coordinate safety briefings and toolbox meetings for workers before project commencement.

6. Problem Solving

• Address technical issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth project execution.

• Assist technicians and engineers in diagnosing and resolving issues related to pump systems, sanitary pipelines, and facility management.

• Ensure proper testing and commissioning of equipment after servicing or repair.
