Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Project Engineer to drive project schedules, allocate resources, and mitigate risks, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery.

You will lead end‑to‑end stages from setup and commissioning to handover, review technical specifications, manage vendors, and coordinate with clients and consultants. The role requires hands‑on mechanical experience and willingness to travel extensively across ASEAN.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical with 3 years in projects, hands-on in cooling system/ACMV/HVAC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and field installation/commissioning/testing/troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel extensively across ASEAN countries.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead end-to-end stages from setup to handover.
• Manage vendors/subcontractors for quality, timeline, and cost.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and scope documents.
• Conduct equipment setup, startup, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot post-handover issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and progress updates to teams.
• Develop and deliver operational/maintenance training to clients.
• Travel extensively across ASEAN countries.

Project Engineer

/$3500 - $5000 + $60 Hp allowance + $800-$1000 Travel allowance

• Develop project schedules, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.

• Lead end-to-end stages from setup & commissioning to handover

• Manage vendors/subcontractors for quality, timeline, and cost adherence.

• Review technical specifications, drawings, and scope documents for compliance.

• Conduct equipment setup, startup, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

• Troubleshoot post-handover technical issues and implement corrective actions.

• Prepare and submit risk assessments, method statements and safety reports.

• Contact point for clients/consultants/vendors, lead project meeting & progress updates to teams.

• Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, and project documentation.

• Optimize project tracking methods and reporting tools for real-time visibility.

• Develop and deliver operational/maintenance training to clients.

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical with 3 years in projects, hand-on in cooling system/ACMV/HVAC.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, experience installation/commissioning/testing/troubleshooting.

• Willing to travel extensively across ASEAN countries.
