Construction Site Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. The ideal candidate will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, and manage daily site activities.

  1. Project Management: Understand construction plans and ensure projects are completed as per schedule.
  2. Site Coordination: Manage daily activities and collaborate with project stakeholders.
  3. Meetings: Attend site meetings regularly.
  4. Safety and Quality Documentation: Prepare Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Risk Assessments (RA), Fall Prevention Plans (FPP), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
  5. Quality Management (ISO9001):
    • Supervise and ensure quality standards are met by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Oversee proper handling of materials during transit and receipt.
    • Report discrepancies or defects immediately.
    • Prepare quality incident reports.
  6. Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO45001):
    • Ensure safety compliance by all on-site personnel.
    • Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
    • Rectify safety infringements promptly.
    • Prepare safety incident reports.
  7. Additional Responsibilities: Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs, propose technical solutions to delays, present daily site reports, prepare project handover documentation, maintain construction documentation per ISO standards, assist in post-project reports, and undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
