Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an engineer with experience in project work to assist with planning, quality assurance, and budget monitoring. Ideal candidates will have a degree or diploma in engineering with relevant work experience, and knowledge of electrical systems. The position offers competitive monthly salary ranging from SGD 3,400 to SGD 5,500, working Monday to Friday at the Tuas West Road location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with a degree, or 5 years experience with a diploma.
• Having a LEW license is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing RFQs and planning work for projects.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers regarding project matters.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules.

Job description

• Working Days: Mon-Friday
• Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Working Location: Tuas West Road
• Salary: SGD 3,400 - SGD 5,500

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing RFQs and perform planning work for the project
• Liaise with contractors/suppliers/vendors regarding project matters
• Confirm the quality and safety aspect of the project related work
• Assist in monitoring the budget for the Project section
• Assist in monitoring the schedules set for projects

Job Requirement

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in related field; or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
• Having a LEW license is an added advantage.
• Must have basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Understand Risk Assessment and FMEA
• Able to use auto-CAD is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft word, Excel, Powerpoint)
