A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist in the planning and execution of civil and structural works. You will work closely with project managers, monitor daily operations, and prepare technical submissions. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Building projects and/or Geotechnical projects.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Familiar with precast concrete is an added advantage.

Job Description

• To be involved in the planning and execution of civil and structural works.
• Assist the Project manager and Construction Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the projects.
• To prepare method of statement, construction sequencing, sketches, and other technical submissions.
• To monitor the execution of the site works and further review and develop the method and/or sequence of the works to ensure safety and efficiency.
• To collaborate with peers, and to liaise with trade contractors, clients and consultants and ensure timely delivery of quality services.
• To prepare Inspection and Test Plan, and conduct inspection and check on works performed.
• Check the drawings discrepancies and conduct field verification, and submit technical clarification to the clients and consultants.
• Ensure updated drawings including shop drawings are used by the site team in a timely manner.
• Prepare site record and submit to office in a timely manner.
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of reports and presentation to management, clients and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Building projects and/or Geotechnical projects.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Familiar with precast concrete will be an added advantage.
