Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore seeks an experienced engineer to supervise ACMV works, ensuring effective project management and communication. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and has at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, with Saturday hours from 9am to 1pm.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage ACMV (Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) works, including installation, testing, and commissioning, in accordance with project requirements and specifications.

  • Daily coordination, planning and execution of the project plan at site.

  • Involved in project planning, monitoring project progress and schedule.

  • Ensures effective communication and co-ordination between project participants.

  • Responsible for project deliverables whilst ensuring safety objectives are met.

  • Attend site meeting, inspection and monitoring and report of project progress.

  • Participating in meetings and resolving project issues.

  • Liaise and co-ordinate with Clients, Consultants and Vendors on all Project matters.

  • Submission and update monthly project status reports.

  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of Department.

  • Coordinate with supplier / sub-contractor of the tender specification and obtain the quotation from them.

  • Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or its equivalent (recognized by BCA, PE Board)

  • At least 3 years relevant working experience

  • Ability to understand the design objectives, systems and budgets of projects.

  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

  • Able to understand drawings.

  • Good project management, communication and writing skills

  • Ability to work with tight schedule in a fast paced environment

  • Immediate or Short notice preferred

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-6pm, Saturday: 9am-1pm
