Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Conduct process simulations and tests to evaluate the feasibility of new processes.
• Provide maintenance and come up with a maintenance schedule for machines, jigs and fixtures.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issues, recommending and implementing solutions.
• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all processes and projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure a safe working environment.
• Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
• Conduct time study to get UPH.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or project management.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
