Job summary

Certis in Singapore is seeking a project professional to manage security system installations, testing and commissioning across CCTV, IDS, access control and intercom projects.

You will coordinate with architects, main contractors and consultants, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and providing end-user training on operation of the systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering related or IT/Computer Science / networking with 2 years of working experience.
• Excellent project and people management skills.
• Hands-on project execution and management experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good working knowledge on IP data networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned security projects (CCTV, IDS, Access Control, intercom).
• Install, test and commission systems within budget and schedule.
• Attend site meetings and monitor project status.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and designers for progress and compliance.
• Procure materials and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Provide customer training on operating the installed systems.
• Ensure subcontractors follow drawings and instructions on site.
• Update shop drawings and diagrams before handover to Maintenance.
• Respond to feedback/complaints and take corrective action.
• Provide regular progress reports and forecasting to stakeholders.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of assigned projects in security systems such as CCTV Surveillance System, Intrusion Detection System, Electronics Access Control System, Audio/Video Intercom System, etc.
• Responsible for the implementation of installation, testing and commissioning of the security systems as per customer requirements within budget and delivery schedule commitments.
• Attend site meetings to monitor status of projects.
• To liaise with Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors, Interior Designers, etc to provide accurate feedback on the progress of works, technical compliance to specifications and variation claims.
• Procurement of materials and delivery to site in a timely manner in accordance to site progress and within project’s budget.
• Conduct detailed training to customers on the operational use of the installed, security systems.
• Ensure subcontractors on-site perform the work in accordance with the approved drawings and instructions as appropriate.
• Ensure shop drawings, floor plan drawings and single line diagrams are correctly updated for each project before handing over to Maintenance Department.
• Respond to and manage customer feedback/complaints and take corrective/preventive action.
• Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on progress reports, forecasts, technical problems encountered, etc.
