Job description

CF Global Technologies PteLtd is a subsidiary of Chong Fong Engineering with footprints in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China. We are providing turnkey engineering solutions for various special process like heat treatment, blasting, shotpeening, welding, waterjet, machining, CNC Automation, NDT systems and others in our product portfolio.

We are currently seeking acompetent Project Engineerto join our dedicated team to perform the following tasks within a busy working environment:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the full lifecycle of chemical engineering projects—from planning, design, and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover.

  2. Develop and review engineering designs, including P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, pipe support drawings, and mechanical installation plans.

  3. Prepare and verify structural analysis, equipment sizing, and loading calculations.

  4. Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and according to specifications.

  5. Monitor project schedules, milestones, and budgets; identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.

  6. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper execution of site work and delivery of equipment and materials.

  7. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including work permit and toolbox meeting coordination.

  8. Attend and lead weekly/monthly progress meetings; prepare site progress and status reports.

  9. Perform risk assessments and participate in HAZOP, and other safety and design reviews.

  10. Assist in the preparation of tenders, cost estimation, budget planning, and procurement documentation.

  11. Review and manage technical documentation, including RFQs, variation orders, and method statements.

  12. Manage and supervise commissioning and testing activities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

  13. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  14. Ensure all works comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, including NEA & BCA or infrastructure authority guidelines.

  15. Maintain accurate records, technical documentation, and filing systems for traceability and audit readiness.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in similar industry (Waste Water Treatment, Chemical Treatment Lines)

  • Skills:

-Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

-Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Proficient in project management tools and software.

-Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
