Job description

This role is responsible for performing Engineering tasks relating to vehicle Customisation and Maintenance. This role covers Engineering effort that spans the product left cycle from design to production to maintenance and obsolescence management.

Job Description:

• Design Engineering include the following:
  • Structure design and calculations
  • Crew cabin layout design
  • Installation and integration of equipment
  • Aesthetic design
  • HFE Engineering
  • Safety Engineering
  • Prototyping
  • Product qualifications
• Production/Manufacturing Engineering include the following:
  • Converting Developmental Design or prototype into Production Design
  • Design of the production processes and work instructions
  • Development of Production BOM
• Maintenance Engineering including the following:
  • Develop the Product Maintenance requirement and work processes
  • Obsolescence management
  • Preservation Engineering
  • Failure analysis and diagnostics
• New Product Concepts and proposals
• Lead or participate in Tenders as assigned
• Any other task(s) assigned by the company

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or a automotive related field
• 3+ years of experience in automotive or related industries
• Able to perform design/drafting software such as solid works and AutoCAD
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and ability to translate customer’s needs into product
• Analytical mindset with experience improving Engineering processes
• Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
