A leading construction company in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to plan, execute, and manage assigned projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating teams, documentation, and ensuring quality control while adhering to safety regulations. Focused on teamwork, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, this role accommodates both experienced professionals and fresh graduates.
Job Scope:
As a Project Engineer, the candidate has to plan, execute, monitor, control and manage any project works that are assigned to him/her. Only candidates with degrees recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board may apply.
Responsibilities:
Administer operations teams including engineers, supervisors and workers to complete the entire project scope
Preparation of documentation including project status report, method of statement and work procedure for the project.
Planning, executing, monitoring and control and closing of the project.
Monitoring and controlling the cost of the materials and labour.
Liaising and coordinating with all parties such as clients, consultants, consultants’ representatives, site supervisors, sub-contractors; on all aspects of the project to ensure smooth, timely and successful completion of the project.
Attend site meeting, inspection.
Solving construction issues with the team.
Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met.
Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed.
Ensuring that the project starts on time and ends within the estimated duration.
Requirements:
Must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) and is familiar with Eurocode design guidelines
Must possess good communication skills (Written and Verbal).
1 – 3 years of relevant site experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Have excellent problem-solving skills
Good team player and customer-focused with excellent communication skills
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Able to work under pressure with high initiative.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00a.m – 6.15p.m
