Job summary

Megabuilders & Development Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager in daily site management in Singapore. You will supervise labour and subcontractors, and liaise with authorities, clients, and consultants to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years in Civil/Construction/Structural engineering, meticulousness, and strong teamwork. Candidates must handle multi-tasking and tight schedules effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Senior roles require specialization in Civil/Construction/Structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with day-to-day site management.

• To assist Project Manager on the day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractor.
• Liaising with authorities, client's representatives, sub-contractors and consultants.
• Checking and ensuring all plans and work are as per drawings, specifications & design.
• Responsible for all structural inspection activities on site.
• To liaise / conduct pre-inspection with subcontractors prior to calling for RE/RTO Inspections.
• Resolving and technical difficulties and problem that may arise on site.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• A minimum 8Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• For Senior roles, specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Meticulous and responsible.
• Positive personality and good team player.
