Job summary

EQUATION TECHNOLOGY & CABLING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator/Project Manager to assist the Project Manager with surveys, site works, and schedule tracking within the project budget.

You will supervise contractors and in-house staff on electrical and structured cabling works, ensure installation quality and safety compliance, and coordinate design and submissions for assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years PM and hands-on experience in Electrical/Structured Cabling.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in project management, survey, site works, and planning within budget.
• Guide and supervise contractors/staff on electrical/structured cabling works with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Prepare project submissions, tenders, designs, drawings and coordinate technical activities.
• Participate in project meetings and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in project management, survey, managing site works, construction activities, monitor work schedules, update progress, planning and implementation in accordance to master work plan and scope of work within project budget.
• Provide guidance and supervision to contractors/ in-house workers in relation to Electrical/ Structured cabling works in accordance to proposal for site build for cabling infrastructure, installation quality, and adherence to site work safety requirements and to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare project submissions, tenders, system designs, installation drawing & coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects
• Participate in project meetings and resolving project issues

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/ Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years Project Management and hands on working experience in Electrical and/or Structured Cabling.
• Able to work independently and/or work together in a team when needed.
• Able to multitask
• Have a strong sense of leadership, customer oriented and problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• 5.5 work week
