Job summary

LEMEN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to bridge the office and field, supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent with documentation, budgets, and schedules to keep projects on time and within specs.

Key duties include document control for RFIs and submittals, cost forecasting and change orders, procurement coordination, and site safety oversight to ensure compliance with codes and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs and submittals between field personnel, architects, and engineers.
• Assist with cost forecasting, change orders, subcontractor billings, and pay applications.
• Create and update master project schedules; organize material deliveries; assist with bid analysis and procurement.
• Inspect active work for compliance with building codes, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Support field teams with safety documentation, hazard identification, and safety protocols.

Job Description & Requirements:

A Construction Project Engineer acts as the vital link between the office and the field. They

support the Project Manager and Superintendent by managing project documentation, tracking budgets, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project is safely delivered on time and within specifications.

Document Control:Manage, track, and process Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals between field personnel, architects, and engineers.

Budget & Cost Control:Assist with cost forecasting, process change orders, review subcontractor billings, and verify pay applications.

Scheduling & Procurement:Help create and update master project schedules. Organize material deliveries and assist with bid analysis and procurement.

Quality & Compliance:Inspect active work to assure strict compliance with building codes, blueprints, and project specifications.

Site Safety:Assist field teams with safety documentation, hazard identification, and protocol implementation.
