Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers in day-to-day construction activities.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and project documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor site progress and report work status to the Senior Project Engineer.
• Ensure construction work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Attend site inspections and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve site issues.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, reports and correspondence.
• Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays.
• Assist with quantity measurements, material requirements and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors regarding work schedules, materials, manpower and site requirements.
• Assist in quality inspections and ensure construction meets standards.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Follow company procedures and ensure OSHA and environmental requirements are met.
• Participate in project meetings and record action items.
• Learn and apply relevant construction standards, regulations and engineering practices.
• Carry out other engineering and project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.
