Job summary

Newtech Technology (South Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple on-site projects in Singapore. You will coordinate with project leads, vendors and customers to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in project/business management, 5–7 years of PM experience, and PMI/PMP certification, with strong skills in MS Office and document control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
• PMI or PMP certification from an accredited organization.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management.
• Ensure timely completion within timescales and budget.
• Site supervision, safety, resource planning, coordination, testing and commissioning.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor orders and deliveries.
• Work with sales to align designs with customer requirements.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with project leads on-site.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, M&E consultants, and project team for quality and satisfaction.
• Initiate and document new processes to improve quality, cost, and productivity.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and standards.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required.

About the role

This role involves project planning and management, with responsibility for site supervision, safety, resource planning, coordination works and testing & commissioning. You will ensure timely completion of projects and execute project tasks within agreed timescales and budgets, while managing multiple concurrent projects with respective project technical leads on-site.

• Plan, coordinate and monitor orders and deliveries
• Work with sales team to ensure design plan and output meet customers' requirements
• Handle combination of projects concurrently at times with respective project technical leads on-site
• Liaise with customer, vendors, M&E consultants, and project team to ensure quality control, customer satisfaction and projects are completed on time
• Initiate, implement, and document new processes/procedures to improve quality, cost, and productivity of the project
• Adhere to ISO procedures and standards
• Handle ad hoc assignments or tasks as required

About you

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, or related area of study
• 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services
• Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing and internally facing products or services
• PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software programs
