Wee Hur Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to assist under the Project Manager or team leader. You will study ISO requirements, drawings, scope and contracts, work with consultants to resolve issues, and ensure works comply with drawings, quality, and EHS standards.

With 2–5 years in construction and preferably HDB exposure, you will help manage programmes, control costs, maintain documentation, and complete ad-hoc tasks as required by the Project Manager.

Qualificações

• Study ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope and contractual requirements, and sub-contract agreements; collaborate with consultants to resolve issues.
• Submit to superior for feedback on short/medium-term programmes and execute per programme.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements; maintain housekeeping.
• Implement quality recordings, perform result analysis and plan continuous improvements.
• Maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.
• Control costs and wastage for temporary and permanent works; avoid rework.
• Handle ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Project Manager.

• Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.
• For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.
• Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Project Manager which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Description

a) To report to the Project Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering
• Mininum 2 - 5 years' experience working in construction industry
• Preferably with HDB experience
