A leading company in the construction sector is looking for a Project Coordinator to assist in the management of contracts and project delivery. The successful candidate will engage with various stakeholders and oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. This role requires a Diploma in a relevant engineering field and at least five years of experience in the built environment. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this position.
1. To assist the Project Manager and Sales Manager in the day-today management of the contracts awarded
2. To liaise with the Landlord representatives, Clients, and Contractors from project inception to project closure.
3. Monitoring of the installation progress as well as coordination with Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment.
4. To ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and program without compromising on quality and safety;
5. Study shop drawings for the projects and understand their requirements.
6. To supervise and ensure works are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.
7. Determine user operation requirements and coordination of works.
8. Ensure timely delivery of projects according to schedule.
9. Updating of project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports.
10. Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently.
11. To prepare method statements, shop drawings, work progress reports, and other relevant documents for Projects.
12. To liaise and work with relevant authorities/subcontractors/clients on shop drawings/equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements, and commissioning.
13. Other duties as and when assigned.
Qualifications:
1. At least Diploma in Civil engineering / Electrical/ Mechatronics / Building Services
2. SUPERVISE CONSTRUCTION WORK FOR WSH / BCSS / Workplace Safety and Health Management in the Construction Industry or relevant Certificates.
3. MANAGE WORK AT HEIGHT or relevant certificates.
4. Strong analytical and communication skills
5. Able to work independently.
6. At least 5 years’ experience in Built environment(C&S , M&E , laboratory construction, and commercial Fitout works.
