Job summary

Randstad - Construction, Property & Engineering in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and deliver industrial projects for clients in Singapore. Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management of an equipment manufacturer.
• Experience in generators, transformers, switchgears, UPS, or relevant products to the business.

Responsibilities

• Project Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain master schedules, aligning internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all project milestones are achieved on time.
• Factory Testing (FAT): Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) alongside clients and distributors, coordinating with interplant teams on factory testing and product deliveries.
• Site Execution & Subcontractors: Supervise on-site installations, participate in consultant meetings, and manage subcontractors regarding material approvals and drawing submissions.
• Engineering Submittals & Documentation: Finalise all essential project documentation prior to delivery and supply engineering feedback for drawings and third-party products.
• Technical Support & Handover: Deliver primary technical assistance, generate monthly progress/cost reports, and arrange final site testing to ensure a smooth transition to the aftermarket department.
