I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work
Oversee construction projects. Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule. Ensure project is handed over on time with required certifications.
II- Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Management & Supervision:
Oversee all site work, manage project costs, and assign manpower to ensure work meets contract requirements with customers/employers. - Site Meetings & Documentation:
Attend site meetings to monitor project progress and protect company interests by keeping accurate meeting minutes. - Coordination with Architects/Consultants:
Work with architects and consultants to report on work progress, confirm technical specifications are met, and handle any change orders or claims. - Material Procurement:
Order and deliver materials to the site on time, ensuring alignment with the project schedule and budget. - Project Documentation:
Issue all necessary project documents (variation orders, extension requests, test procedures, meeting minutes, purchase orders, operations manuals, etc.) promptly and according to ISO procedures. - Inspection Coordination:
Arrange for the required manpower and system checks to ensure successful inspections by authorities and site representatives. - Support for Drafting Team:
Provide timely updates to the drafting team for creating shop drawings and penetration drawings. - Site Coordination:
Coordinate with all involved parties to resolve any issues on-site and ensure any required rework meets contract specifications. - Technical Communication:
Communicate with system principals for INERT GAS, FM2000, CO₂, VESDA, and WATER MIST systems. Familiarity with the principals' design software is essential for maintaining design standards. - Additional Duties:
Be prepared to handle other tasks within the Fire Safety department or other areas as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing projects and overseeing site operations in the fire protection industry.
- Strong skills in cost control and manpower management.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet ISO standards.
- Familiarity with fire safety systems and related design software.
- Effective communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Based on your experience, you may be considered for a senior position.
