Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader seeking a Manufacturing Excellence professional at the Tuas Plant in Singapore. You will implement BD Excellence processes, drive productivity improvements, and lead Venflon improvement projects through robust validation and change control.

You will coach teams on continuous improvement, analyze top losses to boost OEE, participate in projects, and uphold safety and ISO14001 standards to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing excellence or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO14001 and safety programs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Implements and sustains BD Excellence work process for the manufacturing unit.
• Identifies and plans improvement projects for productivity improvements.
• Manages Venflon improvement projects, including change control, MSA, IQ/OQ/PQ, and production validation.
• Develops process FMEA, work instructions, manufacturing documents, and operator training for validation activities.
• Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
• Understands top losses and develops plans to eliminate losses and improve OEE.
• Participates in cross-site manufacturing projects when required.
• Ensures safety and ISO14001 environmental accountability and adherence to SOPs.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

3. 1.3 Project management for Venflon improvement projects. Responsible for change control, MSA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and implementation to production. Includes developing process FMEA, work instruction and manufacturing documents and training of operators to perform validation activities.
4. 1.4. Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
5. 1.5. Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
6. 1.6. Participate in manufacturing projects when required.
7. 1.7. Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement, and reduction of resource materials.
8. 1.8. Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.
