Job description

PROJECT ENGINEER

Location: Singapore

Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects;

· Monitor and ensure compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications;

· Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status

· Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions;

· Coordinate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

· Preparation of project documents such as safe work procedures, risk assessment, engineering drawings and quality records;

· Any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior.

Requirement

· Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/ Chemical or its equivalent);

· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mechanical related project preferred.

· Preferably with experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D software for mechanical piping drawing;

· Decision making ability and drives accountability;

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project);

· Must be comfortable to work in engineering/ construction environment;

· Based in Tuas area.
