Job summary

SHENG SIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a project operations assistant to support day-to-day site management and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure project quality. You will review drawings, raise technical queries, and participate in inspections to uphold standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with at least 3 years of related experience. Construction sector exposure and familiarity with field processes are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in related field.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Civil/Construction/Structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing day-to-day operations on site.
• Liaise with consultants and/or subcontractors on project matters.
• Attend meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on project related matters.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies between drawings and during project execution.
• Carry out in-progress and joint inspections to ensure works meet quality standards.
• Update the project quality plan as appropriate.
• Assist Project Manager with assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of project

• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard
• Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate
• Assist Project Manager on the tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Seior Executive Specialized in Engineering- Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
