Qualifications

Job description

• Report and assist Project Manager (PM) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, implementation and coordinate all construction works on the project site in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
• Prepare, plan and submit project-related documents, such as schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, monthly reports, etc.
• Manage day-to-day project activities including scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting updates of projects.
• Supervise the execution of the works and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with contract specifications/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices, and all other contract documents.
• Coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant authorities, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. on all project aspects and provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
• Liaise with clients or consultants for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and ensure necessary records are maintained at the site. Assist in verifying progress payments and claims from contractors.
• Attend regular meetings with Client’s representatives, consultants, and/or contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule.
• Establish a proper and effective document control system, maintain & conduct reviews of detailed design drawings, project documents, and specifications.
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as deemed fit by your superior/management.
• Be the primary focal point between various parties.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Control Systems Engineering or related disciplines.

• Ability to foresee and resolve issues before surfacing would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statements, and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures.
• Ability to maintain good project documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements.
• Safety certifications such as Working at Height, Construction Safety Orientation Course, etc. preferred.
• Mandarin speaking preferred as will be liaising with overseas vendors.
• Basic knowledge of Industrial Control Real Time Systems such as PLC/SCADA/IoT.
• Basic programming skills in VB, C, C++, Java, C#, etc. are advantageous.
• Additional skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office are advantageous.
