Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to manage teams and oversee project operations. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with the manufacturing/construction industry are essential to ensure the successful management of daily activities and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing/construction industry.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedure (PQR/WPS) is advantageous.
• Attended QEHS-related awareness training.

Job description

1. Manage teams of workers, including discipline, for daily work activities, and assist them on technical and administrative matters. Carry out site supervision, coordination, and quality assurance of teams.
2. Liaise with Client, internal staff, and sub-con on daily activities to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Manage the project, its budget, and the work progress of the work activities.
4. Participate in the performance assessment of personnel under your charge.
5. Prepare the site team with the necessary tools, Equipment, PPE, and procurement of them.
6. Troubleshoot and able to service electronic/mechanical faults on equipment.
7. Report and discuss with the Head of Department / Project Manager on-site issues and propose suggestions to mitigate and improve, if any.
8. For critical and urgent matters, you may need to attend to fault calls after office hours to maintain the standard of site operations.
9. Work with the Management on any area for improvement, and enhance the team’s level of professionalism

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering

• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field

• Familiarity with the manufacturing/construction industry

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of QA/QC procedure (PQR/WPS) will be an added advantage

• Multi-tasking team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
