Job description

The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the execution and coordination of project tasks to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on schedule and within budget. This role involves monitoring project progress, coordinating with technical teams, identifying basic risks or issues, and assisting in implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the project to optimize efficiency, profitability, and performance while tracking project health and managing risks.
  • Ensure the project remains on budget and on schedule, providing regular updates on project progress, highlighting potential issues that may affect budgets or timelines.
  • Conduct project status meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication between all parties.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and customers to ensure key project information is communicated accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure projects meet customer specifications and requirements while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
  • Guide assigned resources from various departments, organizing regular reviews to resolve any issues that arise during the execution phase.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to the management team, highlighting key challenges or risks.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a project engineering or coordination role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Familiarity with Design Tools (AutoCAD, Solidworks) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Project Management Tools
