Job Responsibilities

1. Preparation and assistance to the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects.
2. Participation in design progress and coordination meetings.
3. Possess previous HVAC engineering experience and be a subject matter expert in HVAC engineering discipline.
4. Maintain up-to-date relevant knowledge of HVAC engineering and industry best practices.
5. Manage HVAC design contents as assigned.
6. Support the senior project team in implementing HVAC engineering strategies and frameworks for designated projects.
7. Ensure effective communication of all systems, design information, procedures, and quality standards to subcontractors.
8. Hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and professional qualifications such as MICE or MIStructE.
9. Review competitors' equipment and pricing references to provide valued engineering and competitive Daikin products.
10. Develop bid documents, including project specifications and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
11. Assist and support project team members in completing projects.
12. Determine project budgets, schedules, scope of work, and deploy appropriate staff.
13. Study and assess drawings, plans, specifications, and other documents related to construction projects.
14. Lead and support engineering personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects.
15. Regularly review, assess, and evaluate project execution.
16. Troubleshoot and resolve complex project issues.
17. Conduct site visits to record project progress against the planned schedule.
18. Verify material requisitions and take-off quantities/site measurements.
19. Attend site tests and inspections.
20. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health & safety requirements.
21. Ensure timely project completion within budget.
22. Prepare progress payment claims and variation orders.
23. Develop subcontractor award schedules.
24. Create project reports promptly and maintain documentation.
25. Perform other related duties as assigned.
