Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with daily project activities, including coordination, scheduling, planning, and implementation of work.
  • Work out estimates for proposed works and establish traffic control and division plans.
  • Ensure compliance with LTA standards and submit regular reports on job progress.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction activities are carried out in compliance with approved designs, contract specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions when deviations from the project scope, schedule, or quality occur.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication of project progress, specifications, and challenges.
  • Review project proposals and plans to align project objectives with management expectations, ensuring performance criteria and client needs are incorporated.
  • Oversee project timelines and milestones, proposing adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in achieving team goals by contributing to relevant tasks and maintaining a collaborative environment.
  • Liaise with clients to coordinate project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with expectations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and key project documents.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims accurately and timely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors or the Head of Department.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in LTA road works, structural, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with underground utilities or similar site works is advantageous.
  • Strong project coordination and site supervision skills with a practical approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams, clients, and consultants.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 license is preferred.

  • Work Schedule: 6-day work week.
