Our client is a leading construction and project management firm with a proven track record of delivering landmark projects across the APAC region. They specialize in complex, high-value developments including commercial, residential, infrastructure, and industrial projects. Currently, they are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Project Director to oversee major construction projects across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, operational excellence, and deep technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through completion across multiple geographies in APAC.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring regular communication, satisfaction, and expectation alignment.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Provide strong leadership in dispute resolution and contract negotiation.
- Lead project reviews, reporting regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with the business development team.
- Mentor and develop the next generation of project leaders within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
- At least 15 years of construction project management experience, with at least 5 years at the leadership/director level.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-country projects across the APAC region.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, and contract management (FIDIC experience is a plus).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to drive project profitability.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional APAC languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region as required.
