Job summary

Idbox (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Project Designer to work closely with clients and project teams, translating concepts into functional interior design solutions from concept through completion. You will develop layouts, prepare drawings in AutoCAD, create 3D visuals, select materials, and present proposals to clients and building management.

A Diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field with 3–5 years experience is preferred; strong space planning and presentation skills are

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Qualification in Interior Design or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in interior design or architecture.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office.
• Strong design flair with excellent space planning and presentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand project requirements, scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop design concepts and prepare preliminary layout plans for client presentations.
• Present design proposals to clients and building management for review and approval.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and scaled drawings using AutoCAD upon design approval.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal project teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and building management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Select and coordinate colours, materials, finishes, furniture, fittings, lighting, and accessories.
• Prepare material boards, mood boards, and presentation materials for client meetings.
• Produce 3D visualisations and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, building regulations, and industry standards.
• Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative, practical, and high-quality interior design solutions.
