Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Teams with all aspects of the project, including design, technical compliance, and contracts matters. Ensure project aligns with cost, timeline, and regulatory standards.
Design and Construction: Collaborate closely to develop conceptual and detailed designs, value engineering proposals during Tender/ ECI Stage. Assist and coordinate with Project Teams to ensure timely deliverables and objective-aligned project delivery. Provide support and direction.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure project compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Contract Administration: Support Project Manager / Project Team in contract management. Ensure project deliverable and timelines are met.
Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate design and technical aspects of the project with consultants and oversee the preparation and review of construction documents and drawings. Conduct site walks with Project Team and ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and requirements.
Manage the design and delivery for a range of project types.
Lead project meetings and presentations; ensure client is adequately briefed on project progress.
Lead the communication between the project team, clients, contractors and consultants.
Actively lead a range of project team sizes for successful delivery.
Ensure all work is carried out to the requirements of the client, with the design team working to the correct specifications and delivering a high quality and timely product to the client.
Anticipate and resolve complex technical and design issues as they arise during document preparation and construction administration.
Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
Provide design and technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve design and technical challenges.
Lead more junior members of staff: motivate and ensure quality of work; ensure clear communication; understand the skills of the team and wider resources within the office.
