Project Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop and review technical specifications and documentation to align with project requirements and industry standards.

• Review engineering designs to ensure they meet project specifications and adhere to safety regulations.

• Identify potential technical issues and promptly communicate them to stakeholders. Ensure all team members are updated on changes to maintain project coherence and quality.

• Oversee the design approval process and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve any technical challenges.

• Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions, updates, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Use CAD software to perform drafting based on project specifications and requirements.

• Collaborate with consultants and the project team to refine and develop design concepts.

• Provide technical and design support to the engineering and project teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD, with relevant technical expertise.

• Knowledge of engineering principles and practice

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes.

• Experience with engineering calculations is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
