Project Coordinator (Freight forwarding project cargo)

5 days, 9am- 5.30pm

Salary: $3500- $4000 depends on experience

Address: UE Square, Singapore 239920 (Fort Canning)

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the handling and management of general cargo and project shipments, ensuring full operational control and cost efficiency (commercial aspects)
  • Assist in preparing RFQ and tender with competitive pricing and detailed proposals
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and offices regarding project operations-related matters
  • Manage the global shipment of various cargo types, including out-of-gauge and heavy-lift cargo
  • Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors, securing competitive rates from potential partners
  • Calculating and monitoring project profits
  • Support the sales team with offers and proposals
  • Supervise loading and discharging operations at ports, customer sites and jobsites
  • Administration and support in daily business activities in global business environment
  • Assist local and regional management with reporting and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience with completed training in freight forwarding
  • Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination and management
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, air freight, including break bulk
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Cargowise is an advantage
