We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, a construction firm specialising in landed housing development. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
What you will be doing
Coordinating and monitoring project schedules, milestones and deadlines to ensure efficient project execution
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle
Reviewing and analysing project documentation, including plans, specifications and contracts
Providing technical support and problem-solving to the construction team as needed
Assisting with the preparation of progress reports, cost estimates and other project-related documentation
Ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving initiatives
What we are looking for
Degree/Diploma in Building and Project Management or a related field
3-5 years of experience in a similar project coordination or project engineering role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, construction project documentation and safety regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in using project management software and tools, MS Project, CAD tools and other relevant applications
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
Familiarity with relevant construction regulations and safety protocols
Willingness to station at project sites as and when required
