A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage site activities and ensure the smooth integration of project processes. The role involves overseeing subcontractors, tracking progress, and liaising with various stakeholders, requiring candidates with a degree in a relevant field and strong coordination skills. This position offers the opportunity to independently manage multiple job sites, ensuring compliance and effective project execution.
We are a general builder and developer in the construction of landed residential properties in Singapore. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to help manage and integrate the entire construction process on site.
Coordinate and oversee work by subcontractors on site.
Track construction progress and ensure timely completion of works.
Review and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Review technical specifications and assist in subcontractor/vendor selection.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, engineers, architects, and internal management.
Conduct site inspections, meetings, and progress reviews.
Manage progress claims from subcontractors and vendors.
Handle variation orders (VOs), including assessment, certification, and documentation.
Support the Project Manager in overall planning and execution.
Ensure all work-related safety procedures and general housekeeping are complied with by
subcontractors at all worksites.
Perform other project related administrative duties assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in sourcing, evaluation of quotations, contract administration, and claim certification is an advantage.
Experience in landed residential construction is preferred.
Ability to read architectural, structural, and M&E drawings, understands construction methods and project management.
Prefer candidates to have own transport (allowance provided) as candidate needs to manage various job sites independently. Otherwise, site to site transport provided. (either Grab or company vehicle if candidate has Class 3 driving license)
Able to work independently and proactively solve coordination issues on site.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Hands-on role covering full project coordination, commercial management, and site execution.
Proficient in computer software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCAD.
Must be highly adaptable to working at various jobsites, including exposure to outdoor working environments.
Collaborative work environment with clear responsibilities.
