Job summary

A construction company in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to oversee site operations, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with project specifications. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry. A Class 3 driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Description

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Liaise with consultants, client & main / sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangement
• Perform site inspection and ensure that the work are carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues
• Planning and deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material
• Preparation of progress report, Method Statements and technical submissions
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Building Services Engineering, Project and Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Diploma holders with relevant work experience are welcome to apply
• At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in construction industry.
• Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Building Services or equivalent
• Class 3 driving licence (Good to have), candidates will still be considered for the role without this pre-requisite
• Must be self-driven & motivated to perform and deliver service excellence
