A construction management company in Singapore is looking for a project coordinator to oversee site documentation, monitor material delivery, and maintain subcontractor schedules. Responsibilities include ensuring timely preparation of drawings, effective communication with clients, and adherence to project timelines. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills.
1. Ensure all authorities procedures and information are properly documented.
2. Ensure site progress meets the master programme.
3. Ensure all latest details, information, drawings, and documents are updated both in the office and on-site.
4. Prepare drawings and shop drawings in a timely manner, in accordance with the requirements or instructions of the Manager.
5. Ensure documents and drawings are kept in both hard and soft copies, in a timely and proper manner.
6. Track the progress of material delivery and quality to prevent delays, in accordance with the construction schedule.
7. Assist in the tendering process.
8. Perform quantity take-offs and calculations as required.
9. Attend meetings and assist with determining project requirements when requested.
10. Communicate relevant project information effectively and accurately to clients and the project team.
11. Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
12. Understand project plans and specifications, and explain plans to workers and clients as needed.
13. Monitor and control the status of all sub-contractors’ and project schedules.
14. Maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, consultants, authorities, contractors, suppliers, and other relevant personnel.
15. Maintain an organized and safe workplace.
16. Communicate ideas for improving company processes positively and constructively, and encourage this attitude in others.
17. Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues impacting client relations, reporting daily on-site status.
18. Perform any other tasks and duties as instructed by management.
