Job description

No. of Positions: 2 Senior and 1 Junior position available

Job Scope: Assist the Engineering Manager and Project Managers in budgeting, implementing, tracking, and monitoring project costs and schedules to help deliver benefits and fulfill the site capital plan commitments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement site CAPEX processes, including planning, monitoring, approval, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Site Project Manager to achieve procurement, project savings, or cost avoidance.
• Provide cost estimates during the feasibility and design phases of key site projects, such as new project introductions.
• Support Project Managers by providing financial commentary in project investment proposals, including asset write-off costs (Net Book Value) and project completion milestones.
• Monitor and track project progress to ensure adherence to approved schedules and cash flow.
• Administer site Measured Term Contracts.
• Manage and update the cost database.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (minimum 5 years for Senior position).
• Good understanding of cost estimation principles.
• Understanding of plant and facilities constructability sequences.
• Good understanding of GMP, GEP, and EHS requirements.
• Sound commercial knowledge, including contractual law.
• Basic project management skills.
• Familiarity with Capital Project Financial Guidelines.
