Job description

Our client in the marine industry specialized in FPSO project, is looking for a PROJECT CONTRACTS MANAGER to work in their Singapore office for 2 years, renewable contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and manage contracts related to FPSO projects, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, subcontractor agreements, and client contracts.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Maintain an organized contract repository and track key contractual milestones and deliverables.
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and mitigate risks during the negotiation phase, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Collaborate with legal, commercial, and technical teams to ensure alignment on contract terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for contract management and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on contractual matters and best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on contract performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare, review, and approve all contract-related documentation, including amendments, extensions, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual communications and transactions.
  • Generate regular reports on contract status, risk assessments, and project performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in contract management, with a focus on large-scale FPSO or offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution.
  • Strong understanding of the FPSO industry, including technical, commercial, and legal aspects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, or similar) are a plus.
