About the Project

Sembcorp is expanding the Power and Utility capacity to provide energy, water services and on-site logistic infrastructure to serve multiple customers (“Integrated Solutions Project”, or “Project”).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

This is a one (1) year contract with a direct reporting line to the Project Director and functional reporting to Contract Head and Quality Head. Responsible for the project related matters, include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for coordinating with Contractors/Suppliers/Consultants and arranging all project meetings involving the project team, Owner’s Engineer, QP, Customers, Asset Management, Technical Solutions, Departments in HQ and Contractor, booking meeting rooms and sending meeting invitations, etc.
  • Responsible to handle the project shipping and logistics coordination, customs clearance documentation and other related matters with the Contractor and logistic agents, such as issuing authorization letters, arranging GST Permit processing and GST payment, requesting approval on custom duties payment, etc.
  • Responsible to handle related project documents distributing supporting documents of Contractor progress claims, security/JI Pass application, PR creation and tracking, invoice processing in SAP system, project team members transportation and accommodation matters and other project meeting arrangements, compiling all project/O&M documents, etc..
  • Other tasks assigned by Project Director, Contract Head and Quality Head.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree /diploma in engineering, construction management, quantity survey, business management, or equivalent.
  • Possess good analytical & communication skills; good project administration, initiative, interpersonal relationship and coordination skills to work amicably with internal project team and external parties.
  • Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in power plant project management and administration.
  • Conversant in written and spoken English language.
  • Conversant in operating computer and software using SAP, MS Words, MS Excel & MS Powerpoint.
