The Food Bank Singapore is a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status, dedicated to combating food insecurity and promoting food sustainability in Singapore. Position Overview
The Programmes Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and management of multiple programs within the organization. This role ensures the effective delivery of programs in line with organizational objectives, ensuring that all aspects of program operations are coordinated efficiently. The Programmes Executive works closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve program goals within timelines and budget constraints. This position is critical in driving the smooth execution of strategic initiatives and enhancing the overall success of the organization's projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Feeding Partners: Manage and support feeding partners engaged in various programs, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration.
- Coordinate with Corporate Companies: Collaborate with corporate partners to support their CSR initiatives, ensuring their contributions are efficiently distributed at designated points.
- Prepare Impact Reports: Compile and prepare detailed monthly impact reports for the programs, showcasing progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Maintain Feeding Partner Database: Regularly update and maintain an accurate database of feeding partners, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible.
- Monitor Program Budgets: Track and manage budgets for respective programs, ensuring financial goals are met and resources are used effectively.
- Issue Delivery Invoices: Generate and issue delivery invoices for feeding partners requiring delivery services, ensuring timely processing.
- Participate in Company Events: Represent the company by participating in events and roadshows, promoting programs and building relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skillsets
- Education: A Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: No experience is required but highly valued.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences, including corporate partners and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities, including the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple programs, and keep accurate records.
- Budget Management: Proven ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure that programs operate within financial constraints would be highly valued.
- Team Collaboration: A strong team player with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Event Participation: Willingness to participate in company events, roadshows, and other activities that support program outreach and engagement.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address challenges in program execution quickly and effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools for tracking and reporting program progress.
