Job description

About the Role:

As a Programme Outreach & Engagement Senior Executive at WAF, you will work directly with SMEs to help them address workforce challenges such as skills gaps, hiring constraints, and job redesign needs. This includes promoting relevant government-supported initiatives and WAF’s tailored workforce solutions. You’ll collaborate with both public and private sector partners to drive awareness, support programme adoption, and ensure employers are equipped with practical tools to build a more adaptable workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Programme Outreach & Promotion

  • Promote WAF’s workforce initiatives—such as Career Conversion Programmes (CCP), grants, job redesign support, and consultancy services—to SMEs and business leaders.
  • Conduct practical outreach activities like company visits, networking events, and webinars to engage employers and encourage participation.
  • Maintain follow-up efforts to convert interest into programme sign-ups.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, industry associations, HR leaders, and business owners.
  • Support participating companies and individuals by coordinating onboarding sessions, addressing queries, and gathering feedback for ongoing improvement.
  • Act as a consistent point of contact to ensure a smooth programme experience for employers.

3. Collaborative Events & Learning Platforms

  • Plan and deliver events such as capability-building workshops, peer learning circles, and industry sharing sessions tailored for SMEs.
  • Work with strategic partners to co-host events aligned with national workforce priorities.
  • Tap on partner and company databases to extend targeted outreach to relevant businesses and networks.

4. Communications & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and manage outreach content including EDMs, social media posts, brochures, and programme overviews to communicate WAF’s services clearly.
  • Curate and share success stories and case studies to showcase impact and encourage wider participation.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across digital and print channels.
