Job description

Programme Planning and Implementation

  • Develop and implement Outreach plan/follow-up visits to seniors in the identified blocks.

  • Develop and implement annual calendar plan of social and health activities for seniors.

  • Ensure that the programmes and activities meet the performance indicators and operating guidelines issued by MOH, AIC, or MSF via their reporting systems, etc.

  • Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups.

  • To conduct regular outreach to the seniors in identified HDB blocks/Private residences with the aim of registering all seniors within its service boundary and carry out regular visits to vulnerable and socially isolated seniors to monitor their well-being.

Volunteer Development

  • Recruit, interview and screen potential volunteers.

  • Establish networks with local community-based services/resources, such as grassroots, social services, corporate organizations and schools, to engage volunteers to help run or assist in the programmes.

  • Provide and coordinate orientation of volunteers to their assigned role and the mission and objectives of the AAC.

  • Serve as the key communication link between the AAC and its volunteers

  • Working Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm (Mon-Fri) | 8:30am to 12:30pm (alternate saturdays)

  • Islandwide (East, West, South, etc.)
