About Youth – P180:

Project 180 @ Simei is a youth centre under Fei Yue Community Services, established in 2003 with support from South East Community Development Council and the National Youth Council (NYC). It offers online counselling and youth development programmes.

Role Overview:

As a Programme Executive, you will lead structured recreational fishing programmes, guiding participants in fishing techniques and life skills. You will work closely with youth, families, and seniors, using fishing to foster confidence, resilience, and community belonging.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, lead, and implement recreational fishing sessions for various groups.
  2. Collaborate with social workers to design programmes supporting youth development and community engagement.
  3. Teach and demonstrate fishing skills.
  4. Manage programme logistics, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  5. Drive marketing and outreach efforts to increase participation.
  6. Engage with stakeholders to strengthen relationships.
  7. Ensure proper documentation and data management.
  8. Evaluate programme effectiveness and make improvements.
  9. Perform administrative tasks.
Additional Duties:
  • Conduct talks and workshops in schools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree in any field; Degree in Social Work preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Passion for social innovation, community work, and recreational fishing.
  • Facilitation and engagement skills, especially outdoors.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
