Programme and Residents management
- Part of a multi-disciplinary team to support activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
- Introduce, implement rehabilitative therapies and/or programmes. Review and evaluate therapies and programmes to see if they are relevant to residents.
- Facilitate, coordinate and plan in-house programmes for residents. Monitor residents' involvement for in-house activities and update individual residents' care plan (ICP) report to respective case or social workers/managers
- Work closely with the Programme team to ensure programmes rostered to do are delivered
- Plan, develop program materials, design and implement group activities
- Work with key workers to implement strategies for behaviour management
- Responsible for progress monitoring of achievement of residents' care plan goals
Community Partnership and Volunteer Management
- Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other social service agencies, community stakeholders, corporate partners and, government agencies where necessary for effective programme and volunteer management
- Work with volunteers to deliver volunteer led programmes
- Responsible for maintaining the volunteer database
Qualifications
- Diploma in related field
- Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and meet assigned deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Work hours: 5 working days, including one weekend
