Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Programme and Residents management

  • Part of a multi-disciplinary team to support activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
  • Introduce, implement rehabilitative therapies and/or programmes. Review and evaluate therapies and programmes to see if they are relevant to residents.
  • Facilitate, coordinate and plan in-house programmes for residents. Monitor residents' involvement for in-house activities and update individual residents' care plan (ICP) report to respective case or social workers/managers
  • Work closely with the Programme team to ensure programmes rostered to do are delivered
  • Plan, develop program materials, design and implement group activities
  • Work with key workers to implement strategies for behaviour management
  • Responsible for progress monitoring of achievement of residents' care plan goals

Community Partnership and Volunteer Management

  • Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other social service agencies, community stakeholders, corporate partners and, government agencies where necessary for effective programme and volunteer management
  • Work with volunteers to deliver volunteer led programmes
  • Responsible for maintaining the volunteer database

Qualifications

  • Diploma in related field
  • Good communication, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet assigned deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Work hours: 5 working days, including one weekend
